Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds work on Resaluvia. Please read this carefully before subscribing to our services.
1. Overview
Resaluvia operates on a subscription-based model for Medical Talents. German Institutions use the platform free of charge and are not subject to this policy.
- Subscription Type: Monthly recurring
- Billing Cycle: Monthly (on subscription date)
- Renewal: Automatic
- Cancellation: Anytime, effective at end of billing period
2. Subscription Benefits
An active subscription provides Medical Talents with:
- Profile visibility to German healthcare institutions
- Ability to be discovered in search results
- Ability to receive and respond to messages from institutions
- Full access to platform communication features
3. How to Cancel Your Subscription
3.1 Cancellation Process
You can cancel your subscription at any time by following these steps:
- Log in to your Resaluvia account
- Go to Dashboard → Account Settings → Subscription
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm your cancellation
3.2 What Happens After Cancellation
- Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period
- You will not be charged for the next billing cycle
- You retain full access to all features until your billing period ends
- After your billing period ends:
- Your profile becomes invisible to German Institutions
- You cannot receive new messages from institutions
- Your account and data remain intact (you can resubscribe anytime)
3.3 Reactivating Your Subscription
You can reactivate your subscription at any time by going to your account settings and subscribing again. Your profile and data will be restored, and you will regain full platform access.
4. Refund Policy
4.1 General Rule: No Refunds
Due to the nature of digital services that provide immediate access, we do not offer refunds for:
- Partially used subscription periods
- Subscriptions cancelled mid-billing cycle
- Unused features during an active subscription
- Change of mind after subscribing
4.2 Exceptions
Refunds may be considered at our sole discretion in the following circumstances:

4.3 How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are eligible for a refund under the exceptions above, please contact us within 14 days of the charge:

Please include:
- Your account email address
- Date of charge
- Amount charged
- Reason for refund request
- Any supporting documentation
4.4 Refund Processing Time
If a refund is approved:
- Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Your bank may take additional time to reflect the refund
5. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
5.1 14-Day Withdrawal Right
Under EU consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
5.2 Exception for Digital Services
However, by subscribing to Resaluvia and using the platform immediately, you acknowledge and agree that:
- The digital service begins immediately upon subscription
- You expressly consent to the immediate performance of the service
- You acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed
5.3 Withdrawal Before Using the Service
If you wish to withdraw within 14 days without having used the platform (i.e., without logging in, creating a profile, or receiving any messages), please contact us immediately at info@resaluvia.com. We will review your request and process a refund if the conditions are met.
6. Failed Payments
6.1 What Happens If Payment Fails
If we are unable to process your recurring payment:
- You will receive an email notification about the failed payment
- We will attempt to process the payment again within a few days
- Your profile may become invisible if payment is not resolved
6.2 Updating Payment Information
To update your payment method:
- Go to Dashboard → Account Settings → Payment
- Add or update your payment details
- Save changes
7. Account Deletion
7.1 Deleting Your Account
If you wish to permanently delete your account:
- First cancel your active subscription (if any)
- Go to Dashboard → Account Settings → Delete Account
- Confirm deletion
7.2 Effect of Account Deletion
- Your profile and personal data will be permanently removed
- Your messages will be deleted
- Invoices will be retained for 10 years (legal requirement)
- No refunds are provided for remaining subscription time upon account deletion
8. Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. If we do:
- You will be notified at least 30 days in advance
- The new price applies to your next billing cycle after the notice period
- If you do not agree with the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect
